The estimated initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $100,000 to $213,800. This includes a $35,000 initial franchise fee. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.

We collect a royalty fee equal to 6% of revenues up to $1,000,000, 5% of revenues between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000, and 4% of revenues above $2,000,000. Fees such as these allow us to fund our ongoing Cleaner Clean support services and the continued development of programs, marketing tools, training programs, recipes, and systems upgrades. Cleaner Clean franchise owners will be required to spend the greater of 2% of revenues or $1,000 per month on local marketing each month, and a minimum $7,500 (and up to $32,500) on their Grand Opening. You will also contribute the greater of 2% of gross revenues or $115 per week to the brand marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Cleaner Clean brand and cover the creative costs to develop branded marketing materials and campaigns.

Timelines & Locations

Cleaner Clean was founded as Sandia Green Clean in Albuquerque in 2017.

The initial term of your agreement is five years, with three subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.

Our Cleaner Clean franchise team will provide general site selection criteria and guidance in the selection of a suitable location for each market.

  • Cleaner Clean locations are best positioned in spaces that support daily team movement, vehicle access, supply storage, and administrative work. After the initial home-based period, owners should plan for about 2,000 square feet, with roughly 500 square feet for office needs and 1,500 square feet for warehouse use.

Training & Support

  • Franchise owners and their managers complete online pre-training through Trainual, followed by a 10-day headquarters-based program that combines virtual instruction, classroom training, and on-the-job training.
  • When it’s time for your Grand Opening, our Cleaner Clean team will travel to your location for 2-3 days, to make sure you are calm, confident, and excited when you open your doors.
  • Owners will have access to the Cleaner Clean Confidential Operations Manual for daily operations.
